Constance Denninger
Mrs. Constance Denninger is the Co-Founder of Visual Faith® Ministry and leads a team of 70 women discipling others. She has been teaching Visual Faith Practices for over 25 years. Her home is centered in Springfield, Virginia with her husband, John, LCMS Southeastern District President, Emeritus. They delight in their 10 grandchildren- 8 boys and 2 girls and their parents. She loves the sacred space of home, gardening, and blogs at Vintage Grace.
Connie is a storyteller and learning to live life as prayer. She serves as a Digital Missioner—using the internet to equip others to live lives as prayer, and as fellow missioners. She is a graduate of Concordia University, Ann Arbor. Degrees include Consumer and Family Life Science from Valparaiso University in 1977 and a Masters in Secondary Education from Purdue University in 1981. Following work with PLI- Pastoral Leadership Institute, she received a Masters in Church and Community Leadership that was completed at Concordia University, Chicago in 2013. This University presented her with the Distinguished Graduate Alumni of the Year Award in 2022.
Ministry experience included leading women’s ministry at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, Virginia for twenty years and supporting women of the Southeastern District in ministry for ten years. Connie loves leading in-person retreats, online Zoom teaching, and discipling huddles. Life is centered as a missionary deployed to her neighborhood. Her family is her prime calling, and she is blessed to serve them with joy.
